All work and no play.... you know the one. The Bag of Greens has unfortunately taken a back seat while I'm busy doing my college project and working odd night-shift hours at the docks. Tonight I was driving trailers off and on the ' back end ' of the huge ACL container ship, which sails from Liverpool to Canada and the U.S. The shift went quite well ( I'm still alive and no damage) so I can sleep well tonight....after a cold can of Guinness!
How about Frankie Cocozza being booted off the X factor? Unfortunately it wasn't for his singing.
Conrad Murray is placed on suicide watch because he's bad, he's bad, you know it! (sorry).
War with Iran? Will that be the end of it then or do we have to polish off Syria and North Korea and China and Primark?
I'm writing this because I don't want to do my homework!
Here's a top 'Shooting Stars' sketch. Be seeing you!

Halloween Special

Hi and a happy Halloween to anyone that's interested!
This spooky picture of an owl comes from my course, it was made out of an old computer motherboard, wiring, memory drive and wings made from beer cans!

No doubt I will be both collecting and dispensing 'Treats' this evening with my daughter hoping like a miser that we will finish the evening with more sweets than we started with!
Here's a little song to get you in the mood...
A good Halloween-like program to watch in the U.K. is 'The Walking Dead' on 'FX, zombies all over the place. Also on a Friday is 'An Idiot Abroad' with Karl Pilkington, funny last week on the U.S. Route 66.That brings me to the next song...

Next is a scary breakfast cereal created by my daughter....

It's Halloween special Bag of Greens now!

Welcome once again!
Okay, the Gunners went out to prove me wrong, which is why I put in a pic of Robin Van Persie celebrating a hat-trick out of 5 goals for Arsenal against a poultry 3 for Chelsea. Liverpool did win 2-0 and so did Man -U and Man-City.

You may celebrate with some Don Woods.
I bet you're speechless now. Who needs Rhianna or Craig Colton (X factor)?
The Wirral splendour is about to be disturbed now...in the Bag Of  Greens!

Saturday. Hi all! Coming from Merseyside, I will be especially interested in 2 football games today. Firstly Everton take on Man United ( I'd go for 1-3) at 12:00 and Liverpool v West Brom. at 17:30 (2-1?). Arsenal and Chelsea should be a good game although I would say that Chelsea be the favorite there.

Below is my 'Straddle carrier Elephant', the idea I took from the famous Salvador Dali painting,'Les Elephants' mixed with a machine called a 'Straddle Carrier' that transports containers to and from the gantry crane at a container shipyard. Firstly drawn in pencil then painted with acrylics. This was part of my course.
I had a good evening last night, I took my daughter and her mate to Church farm, Thurstaston, Wirral to their Halloween 'fear ride', we were driven by tractor to some woods, let out, then chased by zombies. We then visited the 'Creepy Cottage' and 'Nightmare Circus'. Good fun for families, they have a more intense experience for adults later in the evening (chainsaws and the like!).

You can wake up now, it's those Greens!

It's day 5 would you believe it? Welcome once again to the electronic home of yours truly. Below is a beautiful presentation of the north Wirral coasts formerly annual 'Wirral Show'. The film features local dancing and canine gymnastics, all observed by the peninsulas delightful inhabitants.
Alas the Wirral show is no more. 2 years ago the organizers decided it was getting too much like hard work so the massive 2-day funfair was abolished. All was not lost as the New Brighton dips are still very popular in the summer months for camping, barbecues and dogging.
The pic here is an artists impression of 'Marine Point' in N. Brighton, already the hotel and Morrisons have opened with a cinema, casino, ice rink and restaurants to follow.
The huge public pool at N. Brighton has long since gone but here is a blast from the past-a unique music event filmed at the baths in 1984...enjoy!
Things are really hotting up in the nations favorite saga.....It's that Bag of Greens time!

Thanks for your comments, Mark!

Luis Suarez there celebrating his second goal against Stoke for Liverpool to get a quarter final place in the Carling cup. Unfortunately I missed the game...and Everton lost.

You may celebrate with a bit of Rhianna (below)!

My My, they don't make videos like that anymore! You'd better cool yourselves down now for the latest installment of a true British classic, likened only to Wordsworth and Shakespear.
